About Me.
My name is Terri Vaughan, and I am a registered nurse currently working in Oncology. I am a wife and mother, both which are first responders. However, I am first a servant. My personal faith in Christ is the foundation for all I do and enables me to serve others. I have been a leader in healthcare for more than 10 years as Director of Oncology, however I believe that true leadership is done by serving. This personal philosophy has also carried over into my role as a nurse where my goal is to always put the needs of others ahead of my own. I count it a blessing that my family also shares this desire and actively serve others, as well. This passion has been driven by the example I had in my father, who was a minister and truly understood what serving was and provided an example to me. Unfortunately, my father passed in 2003, but I attribute much of my drive, determination, and success to what he instilled in me. Originally, I began college in 1996 to become a nurse. As it often does, life took me in a different direction but the desire to return to continue my education and become a nurse remained. Fo
In the Spring of 2022, I graduated with an Associates Degree in Nursing. Following graduation, I was accepted into the Auburn University School of Nursing, where in the Summer of 2023, I will graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Following graduating from the Auburn School of Nursing, I will attend Troy University, where I have been accepted to the MSN/NP Program for the Fall of 2023. |
